There was so much going on. If you were feeling cold - you had to go outside and do some exercises. Advertised was to try your lumberjack skills.
Fortunately, none of the few remaining tress in Welland was sacrificed. But related skills could be tested to keep you warm.

Critical spectators were always watching the hard work and gave their comments.

The little kids were kept busy with face painting. I loved to watch them when they painted each other and showed proudly their art work.

The dancing went on all evening. Everybody - young and old - including our pastors had a good time.
After a learning period the dancers knew what they were supposed to do and I was amazed how well the Asian students performed.

We enjoyed the evening with the members of our church at Club Richelieu. It was our first time there and I hope that we can come back to participate on an event planned by the French people of Welland.
