The Welland Brethren in Christ Church is very active in Cuba. As a fund raiser a "BIC Jamboree" took place at Club Richelieu.
This event full of clean fun took place on October 17, 2009 between 6 PM and 9 PM.

It was pretty cold at this evening, so the preferred beverage was hot coffee. I did not expect ice cold beer or whiskey!

I am not aware that anybody received the reward of $ 25,000 in gold coins. But everybody was awarded by three hours of good companionship, square dancing and much more. Just browse through this web site.

The bestseller of the kitchen were obviously chili and nachos, hot dogs on a roll with potato chips. The prices were extremely low. All work was done by volunteers.

A band entertained the crowd. At the beginning advise was needed to teach proper square dancing. I did not try it because I have problems walking properly, but Elizabeth, my wife had lots of fun.

Three of our pastors came with their families and participated in many of the activities.
