The "Greiz Region" is full of attractions and natural beauty. Unfortunately I had visited this area only in winter when the weather was really bad.
For that reason I do not have own suitable pictures. We will upgrade this web site as son as we have revisited the region.

This railway bridge was built between 1846 and 1851 using bricks. It is the largest bridge of this kind in the world. It has a height of 78 m (256 feet) and a length of 574 m (1,883 feet). 26 million bricks have been used for the construction.

Greiz is a little jewel. Don't miss it. The little town has two castles and many things to explore. We have planned to come back and to spend more time in this area.
