INTERAC Email Money Transfer? If you have an email address and online banking password at a participating financial institution, you can send and receive money quickly and easily. Email carries the notice while the financial institutions securely transfer the money using existing payment networks. If your Financial Institution does not yet offer INTERAC Email Money Transfers, you can still deposit transfers to any bank account in Canada. Pay Pal is a secure and fast way to transfer money. We use this service on most transaction. We send the invoice to you via pay pal. There is no charge for you and you may use most credit cards.
If you can not use Interac this would be the way to go. We do the paperwork from here.
Cancellation of a booking at Susan’s Accommodations:
We are only a small private place. If someone would cancel a booking we could lose a lot of revenue for the time of the reservation since we do or have done our part of the contract by holding the place for the guest. We can not afford any loss as you can imagine since we have to fulfill all responsibilities to our other business/contract partners.
We can not be responsible for any changes of mind or circumstances of a guest who has booked. Therefore, without any exception, we require normally 50 % which we charge to a guests Visa or Master Card account or receive by another agreed method.
(Others have similar arrangements and many charge 100% at the time of booking and there is no refund as you know.)
Any balance (if part payments were agreed upon) is due before check in or on check in as per agreement. The customer’s credit card will be charged accordingly. In case of *NO SHOW* the whole amount is due and will be charged to the credit card immediately. There is no refund whatsoever if a guest leaves early.
However, there are circumstances which make it necessary to cancel. In a case like this we refund the down payment less 20% (min. $ 50.00) for handling/bank fees if we can find someone else to fill the vacant slot.
We strongly recommend a travellers insurance to cover this part of your journey to avoid unpleasant memories. If you have additional questions or concerns please write. This policy is part of the accommodation agreement and posted on our web site.
