Again - same excuse. All our collected information and pictures were lost by a break in. We will try to come back in 2010. I am sure all the heritage buildings I saw are still around.
St. Thomas is known as the "Railway Capital of Canada"
I am still interested in visiting the "Elgin County Railway Museum", we missed that during our last visit.
As a Bavarian I also would love to participate on a tour through the "Railway City Brewing Company" and to try their beer. Probably, we have to find a reasonable accommodation close by after doing serious testing of their beer. I hope that they know that you can drink more when if adequate food is provided.
Everything I learned about this brewery sounds very promising.
Below I have installed a link to a video - please watch it!
Jumbo - many thanks to "Einar Einarsson Kvaran" and Wikipedia
Jumbo was killed in 1885 by a locomotive. The monument was erected 1985.
