Ontario is very successful with the integration of immigrants.
It is mandatory to be fluent in one of the two official languages - English or French - or they must learn one of those. Courses are offered and as I see it most of the foreigners accept this offer because otherwise they have no chance to become part of the society and to get a job.
The government is also not afraid to send occasionally people back to their home country. I think Germany should learn from Canada.
I never heard here about such terrible things as they occur in Germany where German seniors are almost beaten to death by foreigners who are not willing to become part of the society.
Without our qualified immigrants Ontario would have a very hard time to keep up the standards of living.
On this float young ladies from various countries such as Haiti, Germany, Ukraine, Slovakia, Poland, China present proudly their nations.

One float was dedicated to snakes which can be seen in a local serpentarium. As you can see even children hold them and are not afraid. They want that also the spectators touch them.

I did not understand the idea behind the walking garbage bin. I only hope that the person trapped in that did not suffer a heat stroke. Hopefully, some Wellanders use now the available public garbage bins instead of throwing everything on the side walks or on the roads. The front of our house is always a big mess.
