We are not a real estate company and we do not sell real estate. We only help private sellers, real estate agencies and international marketing companies to promote what they have to offer in the German and the English language. Our existing and planned Internet tourist guides in these languages as well as our growing offer of videos, DVD's and photographic books about Canada and hopefully the United States are very beneficial to potential buyers. We also help with translations if required.
All communication with respect to an actual purchase must be done directly with the the seller. We will not be part of that, but will provide many essential information, especially to foreign customers.

The electrical voltage is 220 volts for larger appliances, like stoves and clothes dryers, and 110 volts for lights, TVs and other smaller appliances. The frequency is 60 Hz. Canada has worldwide one of the lowest rates. However, that may change.
Freezing rain, thunderstorms cause occasionally black outs. Especially in remote areas it may be wise to own an emergency power generator to keep all the essentials such as heating, water supply etc. operative.
Canada has a very good developed telephone system. Local calls are free. This is an advantage if you are an Internet user. Select the right system and you can stay connected all day long without blocking your phone line.
