The powwow was planned to proceed until late night hours. I could not stay so long.
After the smoke dancing session started I became aware that this included a competition. The beat became faster and faster. The kids did not have any problem with that. However, the elderly ones with too many pounds between their ribs became obviously exhausted. I never could have kept up and admired them.
Only by walking around I became tired and my knees were hurting. I purchased a delicious strawberry lemonade and sat down.

Many of the costumes looked very expensive to me. They were worn with pride. PLeas watch my amateur video to get an impression.

Especially the kids were very active smoke dancers. Even the smallest ones participated.
