Lion's Head and surroundings - many thanks to MapArt
If I remember correctly Lion's Head has only a population of around 500 people.
Lion's Head is - similar to Bracebridge - located on the 45 th parallel, halfway between the Equator and the North Pole.
If you are hiking the Bruce Trail you will not miss it. However that will take many days and you must be a real an adventurer. You have to walk 840 km!
I would begin with a shorter trial first after you have watched some of the YouTube videos of people who did that.
Many boaters love the harbour because its protected location in the "Isthmus Bay".
Many thanks to all the donors of the pictures !
The light house in Lion's Heads - many thanks to "Brucegirl" and Wikipedia
This tiny light house became a landmark of Lion's Head. It is a replica of the original from 1903 which had been destroyed a few time by bad storms.
It had been built by students in 1983.
The "Bruce Trail"
Explore "Greig's Caves"
If you are handicapped like me I recommend advise not do that - watch only the video.
You can stop that any time!
The Bruce Peninsula National Park
Lion's Head Provincial Park
I would love to revisit this area even when I cannot do any more all the things which I liked when I was younger. But I know there are many things which Elizabeth and I can still enjoy.
