We are not those young people!
I borrowed that picture to show you what you can expect in summer. We visited Grand Bend in October and nobody was on the beach.
You must be necessarily so slim and fit to enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches.
However it is true that mainly younger love to come to Grand Bend during the summer. Many attractions can keep them going even in the late evening.
When we arrived in October it was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We also could not see anybody on the beaches.

Grand Bend - many thanks to "Nelro2" and Wikipedia
But we still loved it her at the beginning of October. Unfortunately, we are not any longer teenagers - not even recycled ones! We were told that the population of Grand Bend will increase during the high season from 2000 to an unbelievable 25 000. That means a similar live style as on the Italian Riviera. Maybe for that reason this are is also called the "Canadian Riviera".

In order to accommodate all these people hotels, motels, resorts for campers, b & b places etc. have been built. Certainly younger people will love that. It means also that you must book a place to sleep very early. I never liked to do that because the risk that something hindered me to come at the defined time was to high. I also prefer it quiter now because I am considered to be a senior.
Please check all the web sites for accommodations - we cannot give any sound advise. If we would camp ptobably the "Pinery Provincial Park" would be our first choice.

Many activities to keep you in good shape are offered in this area.
Check out the actual program of the Huron County Playhouse if you love to go to a theatre. It is very close to Grand Bend.
