Description:

Dundas is nestled between Lake Ontario, the Niagara Escarpment and Cootes Paradise, nature Area. Dundas is also a movie town. Naturally it can not be compared with Hollywood and I am not sure wether any of the movies which was filmed here became a blockbuster.

Description:

A good starting point for driving along the Grand River is Dunnville. Visit the mouth of the river in Port Maitland on Lake Erie. It is only a short drive away.

Elmira is part of the township of Woolwich and a lovely place of approximately 7300 inhabitants. It is located in the heart of an area which was settled by German Mennonites during the early 18 th century. Every spring you can visit the famous "Maple Syrup Festival". Unfortunately, it is only a one day event.

Description:

Fort Erie and Crystal Beach which is part of Greater Fort Erie have some beautiful sandy beaches. The town did lots of improvements and they are a great attraction in summer. Visit the race track. Check for actual events such as a powwow.

We visited Grand Bend in October and nobody was on the beach. It was quiet and we enjoyed the surrounding nature and the excellent service which we received at this time. During summer mostly young people party here and have fun.

Gravenhurst names itself the "Gateway to the Muskoka Lakes". Don't miss to book a leisurely trip on one of the historic steam ships. It is certainly an unforgettable event. Stop at the Bethune Memorial House. It is a little museum dedicated to the life of Henry Norman Bethune.
