We are upgrading our Internet tourist guide continuously. This takes time because we have to pay all related costs out of our own pocket. We do not receive any grants and the government as well as the established agencies are not interested in any cooperation. Not even towns give us any help - not even with pictures! The only income we receive through our travel guides is through Google Ads and promoting our products which we sell.
Luckily Cayuga and the Grand River are close to where we live.

Maybe you walking is better than mine and you can enjoy a view on the scenic river.
On the bridge over the Grand River
We always recommend to our visitors from Europe to spend a day for a round trip along the Grand River from Dunnville to Brantford. Stop and relax at the numerous parking spots and visit for some sightseeing the villages and townships you pass. Don't miss to visit the reserve of the "Six Nations" at Ohsweken close to Brantford.
Most people come for boating and fishing but a few visitors enjoy to take a swim in the river.

Cayuga is part of the "Haldimand-Norfolk Region" and is - as already said - located on the banks of the mighty Grand River.
Many people who enjoy a quiet environment or love fishing are attracted. Occasionally, however certain events bring more people and some noise.
We always stop at one of the parking lots directly at the river, walk around and watch the birds and the always present fishermen.
If you are interested in architecture please visit the "Ruthven Park", but check the opening hours first.
Cayuga itself is a small town. The name goes back to the aboriginal people.
