Campellford in the Tourism Region: Kawarthas Northumberland

Campellford / Seymor is located on the famous "Trent-Severn Waterway". The "Trent River" and the canal are for me the main attractions.
Boating, swimming and fishing are ideal. Two small waterfalls bring life to the river. They are also a popular photo subject.
You can also take a boat tour in Campellford and enjoy the scenery in peace.
Campellford is located in the so-called "Northumberland County". Use this term with the word "Ontario" as search term to learn more about it in English.
Unfortunately, many of my pictures about this region were lost during a burglary. Many thanks to all the donors!

If you are interested in local specialties, ask about the visit times of a chocolate factory and a cheese dairy.
You always can do some work out after that to loose the gained weight. As I said there is not limit on offered sports. It starts with lawn bowling, golfing, tennis, to curling, hiking and biking and more. Just ask. Shopping possibilities and accommodations are offered in abundance. A Provincial Park, Ferris Park, is also nearby. Please do not miss to visit some of the provincial parks on your trip. Why not start with the "Ferris Park" ? You can camp there, go hiking, boating, picnicking, take a shower, go to the bathroom or try to be just lazy.
