Please enlarge and browse through above map as required. Use your car, public transportation or even offered sightseeing tours to explore this amazing town. So far we had only seen a small part of it. For some of the best known attractions we had created own presentations.
Toronto offers lots of things if you are interested in culture and entertainment. Just check the Internet to get an actual update.
Parking is offered almost everywhere, but is not cheap!
In der Yonge Street
Most of our guests included the following in their trip plans for Toronto:
Skylon Tower and Sky Dome
Shopping in Yonge Street and the PATH downtown Toronto's underground walkway
Visit of a musical, a theater or a concert
A visit of the "ROM" (Royal Ontario Museum)
A visit of Chinatown
A visit if certain exhibitions
A visit of Ontario Place
Sightseeing tours by car. I recommend to prefer a guided bus tour. It is less stressful. There are also tickets available which allow you to exit the vehicle to explore a specific area and come back to proceed this trip. Those tickets expire after 24 hours.
We installed links to videos to give you an impression what to expects.

Naturally the season of the year will affect what you can do. During the summer you may become exhausted very fast when walking. Use the "Path" do your shopping tour underground. We fled during winter in tis protected area after having been exposed only for a few minutes to the icy wind.

Heavy traffic and expensive cars
Toronto has many ethnic centers, crowded with a population of Portuguese, Vietnamese , Chinese and other ethnic groups. We never were feeling unsafe when visiting those parts.
Yonge Street - many thanks to Yoho2001 und Wikipedia
All of our visitors had visited Yonge Street and they all were amazed about the variety of stores and restaurants and the "PATH".
If you do not see the sign shown on the right close to an escalator the underground can also be accessed through the "Eaton Centre", but do not miss to relax there for a few hours. It is air conditioned!
Our special shopping site provides a few more information. If you send us pictures we gladly include them and give you credit for it.

I only get little financial support through advertising or web design, so I restrict it mainly to things which I love and which we can afford. Being older we do not need too much any longer and we prefer to buy local.
